Glamour Project is dedicated to restoring confidence and dignity to women, through beauty and human connection. Our studios…. homeless shelters, transitional housing, treatment centers, and substance abuse centers throughout the Los Angeles area; our subjects….women who have suffered profound loss.
With the recent addition of milliner and social worker, Marilyn Feldman, Glamour project has expanded its reach (to other) cities, bringing our message of dignity and hope to even more communities.
Glamour Project is where hidden beauty blossoms before the lens of the camera. We arrive at our studios with a team of dedicated volunteers, make-up, and props in hand for an afternoon of what best can be described as the girlish pastime of “dressing up.” Each woman is given a make-up application, a fashion styling, and her “glamour portrait” as a gift... a heartfelt reminder that she is acknowledged and cared for despite her current circumstance. The radiance captured in each photograph is unmistakeable. The seeds of change have been planted so that these women can begin to reclaim their confidence, beauty and sense of hope.
If home is where the heart is, as the saying goes, how devastating it can be to lose your home. However, it is important to remember that being homeless is a circumstance not an identity. We believe that through a more glamorous identity comes the beginning of a new belief in oneself and in life’s possibilities!

A Glamour session is more than just a photoshoot - it’s a celebration of you. Whether you’re looking for a self-esteem boost, a fresh perspective, or just a day of fun and pampering, our sessions are designed to highlight your unique beauty and spirit.
We start with a “before” photo, Then it’s Lights, Camera, Action - and off to Make-up, Hair, and Fashion, where our talented team pampers you and prepares you for the spotlight! You don’t have to do a thing. Our professional photographers and stylists will guide you every step of the way.
During your personal photo shoot, we use contemporary, flattering portrait techniques in a supportive, relaxed environment. Whether your’e feeling bold, playful, or just want to channel a little Hollywood glamour - we’ll help you express it.
After your session we will view your images and print the one that best captures your essence - something beautiful and empowering for you to keep.
Taking the time to celebrate and capture your individual beauty can be a powerful act of self-love and healing. Our sessions are joyful, affirming, and transformative.
