Skylana has been doing hair as long as she can remember, practicing at a very young age on friends, family, and even herself. At age 19 she moved across the country to attend The Aveda Institute. She then finished her education and training in LA and worked for one of the top salons in Beverly Hills.
Skylana was a child of a single parent home living under the poverty level and that has always given her the motivation to want to give back to those in need. Glamour project is one of the ways she loves to bring the joy, happiness, and magic in creating beautiful hair for women who often don't get to experience.
