EVVY SHAPERO
Evvy works in her private practice as a Neurotherapist and holds a teaching position at the EEG Institute, specializing in the Alpha/Theta. She is team member for a Comprehensive Pain Management Program at UCLA, working with Chronic Pain Patients. Glamour Project represents a basic human need that we all desire to be cared for and treated with dignity and respect no matter where we come from or where we are in our lives. Glamour Project is teaming with kindness, compassion and especially care. It is a privilege to work with so many women and to know that our presence has helped create a memorable experience filled with confidence and joy.
KARA FOX
Kara’s passion is to help those who seem to live on the fringe of life. For more than 30 years she has done her best to fit in where she could do good. When she and Evvy co-founded Glamour Project they were able to make their dreams to help others become a reality. Complementing this work is Kara's love of photography. Her Doberman Pinscher, Olive, is her muse. With a graduate degree in Depth Psychology, and a background in Entertainment Advertising Design, she is able to use her camera, her words, her education and her experience to add happiness to the world around her. MARILYN FELDMAN
Marilyn is a Licensed Social Worker and educator who is known for her extensive work with women, young girls and families. She is the president of Diamond Millinery, which specializes in creating head wear for clients who've experienced hair loss due to illness and Glamour Project's primo Milliner. She helps people preserve their self esteem and dignity while dealing with the effects of hair loss, and restore a positive self image. Marilyn is a founder of Glamour Project in the Boston area and has pursued extensive fund-raising efforts.
JAN BELSON
As a designer and a visual person, Jan understands how important it is to look your best: "Glamour Project gives women, who are coping with adversity, the opportunity to realize that they are beautiful both inside and outside. The photos they receive from us are a reminder of their amazing beauty", says Jan.
"The realization that I could become part of this transformative event is what drew me to becoming part of the organization. Every time I volunteer and give energy to a Glamour day of beauty, I too feel more beautiful.".
JOANNE CAVALLO
Joanne has worked in the beauty industry for over 20 years as a consultant, esthetician and makeup artist. After taking time to raise a family, she was determined to return to the life of making women look and feel good about themselves. Joanne was fortunate to meet Evvy and Kara, and began this journey. After helping over 50 women, she shows no signs of stopping and is looking forward to the future.
TRACY ALLEN
I have been a jeweler and gemologist, for the past for 30 years. Tracy Allen Fine Jewelry is in Beverly Hills, features the latest trends and classic styles. I actively run Beauty Bingo at a homeless shelter downtown, Los Angeles. This volunteer work lead me to Glamour Project. It is my belief that feeling good about how we look influences increased self esteem and confidence, which in turn helps to create more motivation and more productivity. Many woman have fallen short of some glamour in their life, therefore it gives me great pleasure to provide this opportunity to woman who often feel neglected and uncared for.
KEN LOCKER
Ken has had a diverse career in photography, documentary films, television and digital media. After graduating from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in comparative literature he pursued his longtime interest in photography studying at MIT with the legendary teacher Minor White. He then moved to New York, working in both editorial and fashion photography, before becoming a documentary producer, director and cinematographer, ultimately entering the television industry, where he executive produced and supervised more than two dozen television movies and mini-series. Over the last five years he has returned to his first passion: photography. His current work consists of portraits, architectural and editorial photography, as well as several ongoing personal projects.
CAMILLA BOREL-RINKES
Camilla moved to The US from Amsterdam to complete a Master’s Degree in Documentary Filmmaking at The New York Film Academy. In 2017 she co-founded Be Frank Channel, an award-winning, woman-owned creative agency and video production company based in Los Angeles and Denver. Be Frank’s concept is simple: starting a conversation and challenging assumptions. She recently created a campaign for Planned Parenthood and is passionate about social justice. “I want to fight for equality and create work that empowers women and pushes boundaries. I am so grateful to be part of Glamour Project and help women see and reach their true potential.”
TRACY TYNAN
Tracy is a writer and a costume designer. Her memoir called ‘Wear & Tear: The Threads of My Life’, was published by Scribner in 2016. Working with the Glamour Project brings together two of her passions: personal story and styling. In Tracy's own words; "Each Glamour Project event is a filled with unexpected rewards and experiences Interacting with women from all walks of life and hearing some of their stories is both moving and educational. Helping these women create their moment of glamour and enabling them to view themselves in a different light, if only for a few hours or a day, is immensely gratifying." www.tynanthreads.com
SKYLANA ROBERTS
Skylana has been doing hair as long as she can remember, practicing at a very young age on friends, family, and even herself. At age 19 she moved across the country to attend The Aveda Institute. She then finished her education and training in LA and worked for one of the top salons in Beverly Hills.
Skylana was a child of a single parent home living under the poverty level and that has always given her the motivation to want to give back to those in need. Glamour project is one of the ways she loves to bring the joy, happiness, and magic in creating beautiful hair for women who often don't get to experience.
CASSANDRA CREECH
Cassandra is known for her starring role as "Denise Maynard Dixon" on the soap opera "As the World Turns", she has Guest-starred on numerous TV shows and films such as "Dirt" with Courtney Cox, "Crossing Jordan", "CSI Miami" and "Disappearing Acts"
When she's not on set, she can be found hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains followed by a pack of canines at her heels, paddle boarding the Pacific Ocean, or practicing yoga.

SUSAN LANDAU
Susan Landau is a registered dietitian and has always been very interested in women’s health and well being, both inside and outside. She has a passion for helping people and has been involved in volunteer work for most of her life . Glamour project holds a special place in her heart because it allows her to help women feel special, no matter what their circumstances are. It is her belief that we all need to feel like someone cares and Susan definitely does care. She is very committed to serving Glamour Project with her special talents, one of which is bestowing mini manicures. Something we all deserve as a woman but don’t always take the time to enjoy.
DONNA STILLO
My life has been a fortuitous mix of entrepreneurial endeavors and the one thread that’s run through it is volunteering. I doubt that it would have been filled with as much purpose or fun if I hadn’t been graced with the opportunity to extend my time and heart to others. Glamour Project is a great organization that aligns with my values and offers me a way to continue to serve. Being of service to other women is exceptionally tender and so transformational.

DIANA SPIELBERGER
SUE EISNER
Sue has been excited about Glamour Project ever since she joined this passionate group. Sue has directed the operations of two major law firms which included finance, administration, & personnel. Among her personnel responsibilities was motivating people to do their best. She traveled domestically and abroad to assist in opening a number of the firm's offices. Sue graduated from the City University of New York and is an avid skier and hiker. To see peoples' faces and hear their joy after the work by Glamour Project has been one of her greatest rewards
MICHELLE LUSTIG
After recovering from a life changing injury, Michelle knows first hand how important feeling good about yourself can be. Through her work with Glamour Project, she is able to help women remember that the beauty they have on the inside, can still shine on the outside, no matter what life has thrown at them. Michelle is a native of Southern California and knows that together we can help improve the lives of the people around us, all we have to do is take the time to look around. In addition to working with Glamour Project, Michelle is also involved with a dog rescue.
LT RICKY RYBA, US NAVY VETERAN
Ricky has been deployed twice on two different warships and honorably finished his service as a Lieutenant at the Naval Satellite Operations Center. After his military service he pursued a career in entertainment with a focus on acting. He had a supporting role in American Sniper, performed on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and currently has a voice over role on the hit tv show Pokemon! CASHEENA MORRIS
Los Angeles based hairstylist and makeup artist Sheena Morris is originally from Valley, AL. Before beginning her journey in the beauty industry, she traveled the world while serving 9 years in the US Navy. While traveling, she pulled inspiration from different cultures and fell in love with ALL THINGS BEAUTY. She likes to let her creativity and freedom show through her work, from natural and classy to over-the-top avant-garde. Sheena has experience in film, television, print, runway, and bridal. Her work has been seen in ad campaigns including Skechers and Americanino and many other notable companies.
GABE GRIGGS
Gabe was born and raised in Queens, NY in a single mother household and graduated from Lake Forest College. Since college, I have honed my craft in production as a television producer. I was drawn to Glamour Project because of my experiences in High School. I was fortunate to attend Friends Seminary, a quaker high school, in Manhattan, where community service was a mandatory part of the curriculum. Having found a desire to get back to doing something for others, I mentioned my intentions to Ken, who brought me to a Glamour Project event. Coming from a community, similar to where many of the women we work with come from, I felt I could relate to their struggles and it was my calling to give back. I'm so grateful to have found you ladies and glad that I can contribute in some form!
